Comprising award-winning fiddler and vocalist Erica Brown, mandolinist Matt Shipman, guitarist Lincoln Meyers, banjoist Eli Gilbert, and bassist Kris Day, the band seamlessly blends original and traditional music from Bluegrass, Folk, and Country genres.

Renowned and highly esteemed musicians in their own right, The Bluegrass Connection forms a formidable bluegrass powerhouse, combining vocal and instrumental expertise that enchants every audience they encounter.

Notable achievements include performances at esteemed venues such as the Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival and the Stone Mountain Arts Center. The band has also collaborated with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, performing three of their original songs during the Kingfield Pops. Furthermore, they were featured on Maine Public Television’s new series “Sound Waves” in January 2026.
