MEET THE VINEGAR HILL TEAM

Craig Cameron, Operating Partner

From cranking vinyl on a Big Bird record player while wearing footie pajamas, to receiving his first guitar as a gift, to seeing hundreds of live concerts all over the world, to performing music at venues all over New England, Craig’s love affair with music has reverberated throughout his life.  He is honored to be working alongside his fiance and partner Michele (who he first met in a music venue!), and his lifelong friends Emily and Peter, as stewards of the experiences created here at Vinegar Hill Music Theatre.  He can be found at Vinegar Hill most days, usually trying to do too many things at once, and happily spending time with his family.

Michele Bundy, Partner

Kennebunkport native Michele Bundy returned home in 2015 to start her own business, The Fifth Om.  As Founder and Director of a holistic day spa in downtown Kennebunk, creating unique and fulfilling experiences is a central part of her calling in life. She brings her aesthetic expertise to the leadership team at Vinegar Hill Music Theatre.  Michele is no stranger to musical performance – she played trumpet and trombone throughout her time in RSU 21 until graduating from KHS.  She is currently considering Craig‘s offer to form a family band with their two children, Mason and Eve.

Emily Haranas, Managing Partner

Emily, who grew up in the high deserts of New Mexico, inherited her love of music from her parents (one of the most enduring memories of her childhood is arriving home to find her dad listening to music so loud it made the windows in their house shake).  When her dad died in 2010, Emily also inherited his extensive record collection, which she and her husband Pete add to on a weekly basis. Vinegar Hill is Emily taking a chance on a dream with beloved friends in a place that she knows her dad would have loved. When she’s not working on helping Vinegar Hill grow to meet its potential, Emily spends time with her two daughters, Ella and Nia, teaches barre classes, attends as many live music performances as she can fit into her chaotic schedule, and tries to figure out how to utilize her newly-minted MA in Mindfulness.

Peter Haranas, Partner

Pete does what Emily and Craig say to do.  When he’s not doing that, he prefers to spend his time watching the Celtics, going to sparsely attended concerts, and discussing, in great detail, matters of no consequence.

Kristen Kresge, Marketing & Office Manager

Kristen is a communications specialist with a rich background in digital and broadcast media. Before Vinegar Hill, she worked as a Promotions Director for an eight-station local radio group and as the Communications Manager for a Portland-based PR firm.

Throughout Kristen’s career moves, she’s always maintained a deep-rooted love for curating thoughtful experiences, both online and in-person. “In a world that’s constantly clouded with bad news and heavy headlines, it’s important to have community spaces that allow you to safely share experiences with strangers and loved ones. The memories I have from attending concerts and intimate events are some of my fondest, and I feel beyond fortunate for the opportunity to help create those pockets of happiness for future patrons of Vinegar Hill!”

Kristen currently resides in Portland with her fur-baby, Ruby (pictured), and when she’s not at Vinegar Hill, you can find her out with her pup exploring one of Maine’s many trails.

Zach Romanoff, Venue Manager

Zach is a twenty-year veteran of both the hospitality and music industry. In addition to a long and successful history in food and beverage management at some of New England’s finest restaurants, private clubs, and resorts, he is a published songwriter, seasoned performer, and Owner/Producer at Darkhorse Recording Studios in Southern Maine. Zach graduated from Full Sail University in Audio Production.

“It’s a magical event when people gather to truly listen and enjoy music together. The moment when a performer connects with the listener is what it’s all about. It’s my job to provide and maintain a safe and fun environment for the performers, guests and staff alike.”

Zach lives in Kittery, Maine with his wife, two sons, and pup Zoë.

Jeff Beam, Talent Buyer

Jeff Beam brings nearly 7 years of booking and venue experience from his time at One Longfellow Square in Portland, where he served first as programming director and venue manager and finally as executive director.

Jeff is passionate about curating a live music programming schedule and helping to deliver an exemplary venue and concert experience for all parties involved: “When you work at a music venue, your job is to foster an environment where you can help create positive and memorable experiences for everybody present. There’s nothing better than watching happy patrons leave the venue positively glowing after hearing their favorite artist, or after discovering their new favorite artist. We want musicians to be eager to return and to tell their fellow artist friends about the great experience they had at Vinegar Hill. Every show is a new opportunity for us to achieve these goals, and we aim to succeed each and every night.”

When he’s not at Vinegar Hill, Jeff can be found performing or recording music, or hanging at home with his cat, Wilma. Jeff prefers to live by his favorite motto: Trust the Process

Jack Murray, Technical Director

Jack Murray, with his company Ocean AVL, was entrusted with the audio, video, and lighting installation during Vinegar Hill Music Theatre’s inception back in 2016, and he has been with us ever since.  As the Technical Director, Jack is tasked with ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and that the artists’ equipment needs are taken care of, both prior to their arrival and during their on-stage performances.  A Maine native and resident of Portland, Jack has been a part of the Southern Maine music scene for two decades.  While he enjoys the fast-paced environment that operating an entertainment production company entails, he’s most happy behind the audio console mixing shows at Vinegar Hill.
