A touring mainstay and an indie folk-rock staple, this Virginia quintet’s musical style pulls from Americana, indie rock, folk, bluegrass, Celtic and pop traditions using an array of instruments – acoustic & electric guitars, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, cello, bass, drums, accordion, penny whistle and rich vocal harmonies – to define the band’s lively stage presence and sonic landscape. 

With a history spanning 30 years, 20 recordings and 3,500 live shows, Carbon Leaf’s independent music and spirit continue to resonate with its fans. 

2020 Carbon Leaf announced they had begun work on a new full-length album that is set for release in 2024.  

What does “GA Standing” mean?

For a GA Standing show, our red theatre seats are removed from the floor and the 30 seats are left in our balcony (unless otherwise specified). We also set up cocktail tables with bar stools to line the perimeter of the room (around 10). All seating options are first come, first serve, so if you would like to reserve a seat or table, please show up when doors open.
