‘Kafari’ is the alias of Portland, ME based pianist, electronic musician, and rhythm bonesman Ahmad Hassan Muhammad. He is also a member of the Portland-based psychadelic soul quintet ’Jaw Gems,’ contributing both synthesizer and electronic beats. Kafari is a passionate composer, performer, bones teacher, and street musician. He was born in Cincinnati, OH and graduated from Bowdoin College in 2010.

Our free summer concert series is back! Join us every Sunday from June 29 to August 31, 2–5pm*, for live music, great vibes, and garden-side relaxation at Vinegar Hill Music Theatre in Arundel, ME — weather permitting.
*EVENT WILL RUN 12PM – 3PM ON JULY 27TH.
What to expect at our weekly events:
- Free live music starting at 2pm, featuring talented local musicians
- Delicious eats from a rotating local food truck
- Outdoor bar with a wide range of cocktail selections
- Fully furnished garden patio space
- On-site parking available
Other things to know:
- This event is ALL-AGES!
- Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.
- Seating is limited — feel free to bring your own camp or beach chair. (Picnic blankets welcome in the front lawn area only).
- This is a fully outdoor event. 🌧️ Weather note: Please check our website and social media pages for any updates or cancellations due to weather.
- No outside food or drink, please.
- Live music takes place in our garden patio.
