SANS SOUCI JGB TRIBUTE

With a primary focus in excellence, Sans Souci: Tribute To Jerry Garcia Band is an act that stands above the rest in a crowd of Grateful Dead tribute bands. Jerry Garcia was more than just a musician… he was a phenomenon. The creations of Jerry and his bandmates have artistically inspired people and their jaw-dropping live performances have brought people together to form a special sense of community around the love for their favorite band even decades after his passing.

Sans Souci JGB features Hammond organist and vocalist Max Chase, guitarist and vocalist Mike Carter, vocalist/percussionist Abby Schriefer, bassist Mike Skoby, and drummer Nick Baldoumas. The band are longtime Garcia and Grateful Dead fans with the goal of igniting the listeners’ passion for the music by moving the music forward, creating a fresh, exciting experience for fans. Founded in 2017, Sans Souci: Tribute To Jerry Garcia Band have since established themselves as one of the area’s premier tribute acts. Rooted in rock, blues, and Motown, Sans Souci performs faithful renditions of songs spanning Jerry Garcia’s robust solo career, including Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders, Legion Of Mary, and the Jerry Garcia Band. The band puts a focus on melding music from Jerry’s solo career with the intricate jam stylings of The Grateful Dead creating that fresh, exciting experience for fans and new listeners.

 

What does “General Admission” mean?

For General Admission events, all theater seats are removed from the floor to create an open space, with cocktail tables and barstools added for a more relaxed atmosphere. The number of tables and stools varies depending on the show and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. BREAKIN’ STRINGS WITH STILLWATER

Breakin’ Strings

Breakin’ Strings is a New England based bluegrass band, started 20 years ago. Led by Cliff Gelina, and backed by some of New England’s finest musicians, featuring Cody Howe, Sam Acus, Amanda Gelina, Kailey Zercher and David Bevins. They have a hard driving bluegrass sound that brings people to their feet. They will also blow you away with their strong ballads and tight harmonies. Cliff Gelina’s voice has been compared to the sounds of Chris Stapleton, Dan Tyminski, Larry Cordle, and Russell Moore. The musicianship in this group will keep you dancing with a smile on your face.

This versatile group brings a great show you won’t want to miss. Breakin’ Strings had their debut album released in September of 2022 which was recorded in (Studio A) at the legendary Blackbird Studios in Nashville, TN. They also performed at the 2022 IBMA Ramble Showcase. BREAKIN’ STRINGS released several singles since. “Stones”, “Willow Tree” and “95”. Breakin’ Strings has been finishing up their new Album, “Homegrown” recorded at Acadia Recording Company, in Portland, ME. Stillwater

Stillwater is a bluegrass sextet founded in 2023 on the banks of the Stillwater River in Old Town, Maine. Stillwater features Trip Nickel (guitar), Yoni Musher (mandolin), Kiera Luu (double bass), George Horvat (fiddle), Noah Vaughn Jackson (banjo), and Jack Pasternak (dobro). Stillwater incorporates modern renditions of traditional American folk and bluegrass tunes with contemporary jamgrass, respectfully exploring their creative freedom within the wide world of improvisational music and songwriting.

OSHIMA BROTHERS

Oshima Brothers, a Japanese-Italian sibling duo from the coast of Maine, make open hearted music with smooth blood harmonies and groovy guitar lines. On stage, Sean and Jamie share warm tones of folk, alt pop, and indie R&B on road weathered guitars, keyboards and a loop station. Offstage, the brothers enjoy sipping espresso, tinkering with guitar pedals, hosting dinner parties, and writing songs together. Embracing a DIY approach, they produce every inch of their songs and videos from scratch, including a 45-minute album film. Their latest work speaks of love, climate resilience, and family history repeating. Maine Public Radio says their “harmonies can’t be beat. They are uplifting and, let’s face it, we need uplifting these days.”

JAMES AUSTIN JOHNSON

JAMES AUSTIN JOHNSON is a comedian and actor who recently began his fifth season as a cast member on “SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.” Known for his prolific voice-over work in both TV and film, his acting credits include “BARRY,” “BETTER CALL SAUL,” “SHE SAID,” and “HAIL, CAESAR!”. He voices the Grinch in Wondery’s podcast series “’TIS THE GRINCH HOLIDAY PODCAST,” which recently debuted its third season. Upcoming voiceover credits include “ANGRY BIRDS 3” and “HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 5.”

On SNL, Johnson is widely recognized for his uncanny portrayal of Donald Trump. In 2024, he appeared in two Oscar-nominated films, voicing Pouchy in “INSIDE OUT 2” and making a cameo in the Bob Dylan biopic “A COMPLETE UNKNOWN,” starring Timothée Chalamet. He completed his “Return to Office” national stand up tour this past summer.
