Vinegar Hill Music Theatre presents Reggae Night with Royal Hammer!
Food Trucks 6pm | Doors 7pm | Show 8pm
All Ages

Join us for food and drinks before the show in our outdoor garden starting at 6pm!

The night’s food truck is Saco-based, family-owned and operated Da Caribbean Flavors, specializing in authentic Caribbean cuisine!

Join us for our first Reggae Night featuring Maine’s most prolific reggae band, Royal Hammer! The Royal Hammer is a seven-piece roots reggae group from Portland, Maine. Heavily influenced by Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, and Roots Radics, Royal Hammer takes pride in the authenticity of their sound. Michael Taylor (The Awesome, Rustic Overtones) is backed-up by a heavy rhythm section including Gary Gemetti (Rustic Overtones) on drums, Tyler Quist (Jaw Gems) on keys, and bass player Stu Mahan (Nat Osbourne Band, London Souls), with Ryan Zoidis (Rustic Overtones, Soulive) and Lucas Desmond (Model Airplane) on saxes, and new addition Jamie Bifulco on trombone. Royal Hammer’s grooves are deep and infectious. They have shared the stage with reggae legends Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and Barrington Levy and has backed up international reggae artists Marty Dread and Legendary Glen DaCosta of Zap Pow and the Wailers. Check out their newly released, debut album ‘My Bubble’!

What does “GA Standing” mean?

For a GA Standing show, our red theatre seats are removed from the floor and the 30 seats are left in our balcony (unless otherwise specified). We also set up cocktail tables with bar stools to line the perimeter of the room (around 10). All seating options are first come, first serve, so if you would like to reserve a seat or table, please show up when doors open. As always, if you need additional handicap accommodations, please contact our office and we’re happy to assist.
